Juan Ortiz is a multi-awarded jazz pianist from Bilbao (Spain).

He started playing piano at the age of 6, and has been deeply committed to music ever since.

​

Graduated from MUSIKENE (San Sebastian) in 2010, and studied with teachers such as Iñaki Salvador, Perico Sambeat and Jorge Rossy.

​

As a musician, Juan has recorded 5 albums to his name and received several awards. He has toured the Europe, worked on cruise-ships, and 5-star hotels in Japan, to name a few.

As a music educator, he has taught lessons in Universities and schools from Spain, Nepal, and Japan, among others.

With 20+ years of experience both performing and teaching, Juan remains very active in both fields.
